My Ethos:

Genuine 🎀

The joy, enthusiasm, curiosity and care that I bring to my working relationships is me showing up as myself. I genuinely love this work and it makes me feel so fulfilled.

Inclusive 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈✊🏿

You are welcome with me, and in all the spaces I create, if you are queer, if you are trans, if you are LGBTQIA+, if you are disabled, if you are neurodivergent, if you are from the global majority, if you are an immigrant, if you are s-x positive, if you are a s-x worker, if you are non-monogamous or a relationship anarchist…

Neurodivergent friendly ♾️

As a late diagnosed neurodivergent myself, I know how much our busy brains can change our experience of the world. I am here to work with YOU and FOR you. Ask me ALL THE QUESTIONS, stim away, avoid eye contact, let’s figure out what accomodations you need, and always, always know our work is a constant invitation to be your authentic yourself, whatever that means for you.

Non-judgemental 💜

I understand that trust is built over time rather than acquired indefinitely, and I want you to know that I am always here for you as you are NOW. I will always support you, welcome all of your feelings, and help with your goals. Including when it’s taking a break.

Trauma Informed 🤕

Most of us are impacted by one form of trauma or another - especially if you’re neurodivergent. I know firsthand how much that can impact our psychological, physical and emotional well-being, and I will always work with you and your current capacity, and at your pace.

Systems Informed 📢

Look, we’re all operating under a pretty intense set of circumstances - the patriarchy, capitalism, colonialism, the cost of living crisis… the list is long. These systems have a real impact on our lives and well-being. I will always acknowledge and recognise those amidst talking about your mindset, your life, your projects, and your creative practice.

The areas we might be digging into:

A woman with curly dark hair wearing a black top and a large light blue bow in her hair, posing against a dark background.
  • Joy & Connection - we’ll explore what creativity means to you, what makes you feel connected and inspired, what lights you up, what fills up your cup, and how you can find ways to harness that energy for your personal and creative growth.

  • Limiting Beliefs & Confidence - we’ll make you sure you believe in yourself, all the amazing skills you already have, work out where you might need support and how to find it.

  • Purpose & Vision - we’ll dig into what you want to accomplish and why, so you can always bring yourself back to the right direction no matter where your work has taken you.

  • Vulnerability & Resilience - it’s not always easy putting ourselves out there, both literally in the work and socially as a creator. We’ll talk about vulnerability, what that means for you, and how to use to fuel your creativity and your work in a variety of ways.

  • Planning & Alignment - we’ll figure out what you need in order to create in a way that works for your brain while staying mega focused on your vision, including how to adapt to your life and your commitments.

Some of the tools we might be using:

Session notes, action points, and progress check ins

After each session, I’ll share notes from our discussion, as well as targeted action points for you moving forward.

Creative exercises

Coaching isn’t about formal or textbook tools. huge part of connecting to your creativity is going to be exercising those muscles in a low stakes way. Most tools we use can be approached from a creative angle - so let’s have fun, and let’s make the journey about using your creativity to unlock more creativity.

Journalling & Visualisation

Thought journals - whether they’re brief or in depth - can help you connect to how you’re finding the process, and what’s coming up for you. Over time it’s a window to what you need more or less of, and what we can unlock together. And visualising your goals - with mood boards and other creative exercises - can help you see the future you want and how to build it.

Habit tracking & Routine development

Tracking new habits can help you deepen your commitment to what you’re trying to accomplish and work out any patterns that are useful to discuss.

Fill Your Own Cup

Making any change takes work and energy. How are you going to recharge the fulfilment batteries while you’re on this journey? This matters so much, both short and long term. Personally I binge Schitt’s Creek, Parks and Rec, and Grey’s Anatomy like my life depends on it. What about you?

Technology

Let’s be honest: technology is always going to rule our life one way or another. I know firsthand how amazing and overwhelming that can feel if you’ve got a busy brain. Let’s figure out what’s are going to work to support YOU. If it’s a self care app with a cute birb… GREAT. If you need to switch to pen & paper - let’s do it.

Goal Setting

Goal setting settings tools can help you manage your project and figure out how to break it down into manageable and sustainable steps, AND they can help you figure out how YOU work best and what you need to stay motivated and productive.

Taking breaks & Mindfulness

This is going to be as valuable as the work you’re putting in. In fact, taking breaks without framing them as a failure is PART of productivity. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Depending on your own experience with your body, mindfulness can also be an incredibly powerful tool to help find the right tools for you

Learning style

Are you a visual learner? Do you like verbal communication more than written? Do you need reminders or do you hate them? Let’s work this out and lean on what’s going to click in your brain and make the process a whole lot easier. This includes what works best for our communication.
