Welcome to my world of Big Feelings
As a neurodivergent, queer woman with c-ptsd who lives much of my life outside the margins of normativity (hello, non-monogamy, relationship anarchy, and s-x positivity), I feel incredibly strongly about making space for the authenticity of people's lived experiences and emotions.
I always bring warmth, care, curiosity, kindness, and enthusiasm.
One of my closest friends nicknamed me ‘firefly’ twenty years ago.
Lighting up other people is what brings me joy.
I’ve always loved helping people and making space for their experience and emotions.
After 15 years working in scripted TV comedy and drama, and working hand in hand with writers and performers to make their vision a reality, I offered to support a friend with a big project of hers.
It wasn’t about editorial support or advice - it was about cheerleading, accountability, support, and creating a safe space to talk about the journey of making something big happen from start to finish.
After our first hour together, I knew I wanted to keep working as a coach.
As a neurodivergent human myself, I know what it’s like to have all these ideas and all this energy and still finding myself stumbling without the right support.
I love working with people with big feelings, busy brains, and big ambitions, and supporting them to connect to their creativity, their purpose, and to themselves. I believe they are the change we need in this mad world.
In addition to graduating from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC in TV and Motion Picture Producing in 2011, I have since trained as a coach and gained certifications in Life Coaching, Transformational Coaching, ADHD Coaching, and Trauma-Informed Coaching.
I am currently working towards gaining accreditation with the Association for Coaching, and I am continually learning and growing my experience, my knowledge and my abilities.
My own creative practice
Hi! You’re still reading, which makes me happy because I love curiosity and I’m all about diving deep!
Here’s a little bit more about my own creative practice, so you get to know me more and the kind of things I make alongside my editorial and coaching work…
I’m a writer, a poet, a burlesque performer, a zine editor… and I hope to add more forms of creativity to the list in the future 💜
I make things the only way I know how: with my whole heart.
